Compliance
Preparation and submission of Statutory Valuations and Annual Financial Statements timeously, maintaining a proper filing system and working with precision, timeous responses to any of the Authority’s’ queries/requests, timeous submission of Rule Amendments and appointment of Trustees (i.e. POPIA compliance, Section 13A compliance, Regulation 28 compliance, Audit requirements compliance).

Ability to draft/review policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
Governance
Ensure adherence to compliance requirements by regularly monitoring through Trustee reporting, Annual Declarations submissions, POPIA compliance, Section 13A compliance reporting, Regulation 28 compliance reporting.
Section 37C
(Death benefits distribution)
Processes and procedures management in line with regulatory requirements and providing the Trustees with support regarding distribution management and record keeping.
Training and Development
Trustees induction to equip them for their role and to understand the Fund’s operations and the importance of the completion of the FSCA Trustee Toolkit.
Risk Management
Compilation of a risk matrix to identify possible areas of risk and mitigation factors. Reviewing and regularly monitoring the status of the risk to assess improvement.”
Reporting and Record keeping
Ensure proper record keeping and relevant reporting to the Trustees/Authority.
